Arteriors is seeking a Visual Merchandising Associate to join their Outlet Store team. The Visual Merchandising Associate role is physical in nature. You'll work with the Visual Merchandising and management team to manage the layout and upkeep of merchandise on the sales floor. The Visual Merchandising Associate will also interact with customers on the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Visual Merchandisers and Managers with product placement and general interior maintenance skills, including painting, minor wall repair etc.
- Handling and building furniture, maintaining all hanging and floor light fixtures (chandeliers, pendants, wall sconces etc.)
- Maintain overall neatness and appearance of the store, stockroom, and prep areas
- Set up or switch out furniture and hanging lights, unload trucks, lift boxes, climb tall ladders, and use power tools to build and install store fixtures
- Greeting and directing customers to sales support
- Safely assist customers in loading and unloading their purchases into their vehicles.
- Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working safely, effectively, and respectfully with all sales associates and team members to drive overall sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and implement the marketing strategy and plan across media, sponsorships, public relations, social media, and select collateral, both globally and by sales channels: trade, showroom, retail, key accounts, lighting, commercial, international and e-commerce.
- Execute advertising plan within assigned budget.
- Manage activities with two PR Agencies (NY and London) to ensure brand global messaging and positioning is consistent and KPI’s are achieved.
- Manage social media agency and execute approved strategy, editorial calendar, content pillars, reels, etc.
- Brief PR and social media agencies on all seasonal launches providing all relevant information and creative assets for events and trade shows and launch activation.
- Review press materials and social content for product/brand messaging accuracy.
- Manage user generated content (UGC) including aggregating images, labeling images with product names/user handle, selecting images for digital programs, negotiating/confirming usage rights, etc.
- Monitor and respond to product/customer service inquiries across all social media channels daily.
- Upload and ID images to Pinterest boards created by social media agency.
- Manages and develops customized programs with industry associations and trade markets (ASID, IDS, NEWH, SBID, RIBA, NYDC, LCDQ, DCCH, HPMKT, LVM, HDExpo, BDNY, etc.)
- Manages showhouse (Kips Bay, Design on a Dime, sponsorship opportunities including product loans/donations for select clients.

The Junior Planner will assist the Planning Manager with the planning of demand, inventory and production of luxury product. Some of the responsibilities in this role are:
- Maintaining and analyzing inventory shortage management by proactively identifying and tracking upcoming risks with a comprehensive action plan
- Maintains and manages inventory availability by completing buy analysis, proactively maintaining inventory baselines and projections for assigned categories
- Assists in item lifecycle management by analyzing SKU count, assortment mix, pricing, overstock, sales performance
- Managing vendor communication on open, outstanding and upcoming orders to complete a production planning assessment to ensure product availability and prevent shortages or overstock on a monthly basis
- Cross-departmentally focused by spending time alongside other departments by understanding outstanding shipments, inventory impacts and factory optimization
- Assists in analysis alongside the Planning Manager for the following:
- Inventory position - to evaluate and identify risks and opportunities by category and provide strategy improvement ideas
- Historical sales data and current forecast trends - to identify risks and opportunities by category
- Shipping processes, performance, and readies adjustments to improve efficiency
- Ad hoc reports to support the Buying and Planning team
- Manages purchase orders including:
- Inputting new purchase orders and managing updates throughout the purchase order lifecycle
- Maintaining purchase order status, expedites and providing information as needed pertaining to delivery of product
- Assists production planning & scheduling functions by aligning the buying team, logistics and vendor partners the ensure optimal product availability and flow
- Developing forecasts for shipping needs and confirms that the necessary inventory is available
As a Showroom Sales Associate (Brand Ambassador) in our Los Angeles showroom, you’ll work in a goal-based sales environment to create meaningful relationships with our clients and maximize sales through determining client needs, answering questions about our product, and recommending the right solutions. To land this gig, you’ll need experience in a sales environment, preferably for a luxury brand or within the furniture and design industries.

- Implement strategies to optimize buying processes and functions including:

As the Accountant at Arteriors you will work closely with the team to prepare financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. Also, accountable for the company's financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with the company’s external auditing firm, maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial and tax reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the sales tax compliance process including:
- Managing the re-sale certificate collection process
- Managing sales tax audits (internal and external) and compliance requests
- Producing documentation to support the sales tax remittance process
- Reconciling the sales tax liability general ledger accounts
- Acting as the commercial card expense reporting program administrator through:
- Managing commercial cards for employee cardholders
- Generating bi-weekly and monthly reports
- Assigning general ledger codes to certain transactions
- Reconciling the commercial card liability general ledger account
- Engaging in treasury activities including:
- Transmitting the credit card settlement batch daily to merchant services for processing
- Downloading daily, weekly, and monthly reports from the bank portal
- Reviewing and coding reports, as applicable
- Creating vendor invoices, as applicable
- Performing the weekly bank reconciliation in the accounting system
- Managing sales commission activities including:
- Daily posting of commissions to the general ledger
- Monthly posting of commission corrections to the general ledger
- Generating monthly commission statements and preparing them for processing
- Reconciling the commission liability general ledger account
- Assesses departmental process flows, drives process improvement opportunities as required, and leads departmental and organizational initiatives.
- Assists with the identification of potential improvement areas within the accounting department.
- Furnishes internal and external reports through the lens of ensuring they are useful and efficient.
- Supports and maintains relationships with outside auditors and financial institutions while upholding professionalism, handling sensitive information in a confidential manner. This includes an annual external financial audit.
