We are looking for an Outlet Manager for our brand new Outlet location in Riverhead, NY! The Arteriors Outlet Store Manager will represent the brand with excellence, ensuring the highest level of service is provided, and optimizing every revenue-generating opportunity, while hiring, developing, and retaining staff. This position currently reports directly to the Sales Manager, Showrooms & Outlet Stores.

Responsibilities:

Creates meaningful relationships with our customers to generate sales revenue through:

  • Use of in-depth product knowledge and exemplary selling skills
  • Maintaining immediate and open communication to address all customer concerns, complaints, or returns inquiries; personally responsible for all client escalations related to or involving transactions or customer interaction related to the business.

Actively supports inventory management including merchandising of new products into existing visual displays

  • Oversees replenishment efforts to ensure the product represented in each location is aligned with customer buying habits – both in terms of styles, categories, finishes and sizes
  • Optimizes available A2 inventory at Midway and East Coast RA’s to most effectively stock sales floor.
  • Works with Operations leadership to ensure paperwork is completed accurately to minimize inventory shrinkage; prepares and documents policies and procedures, makes recommendations to management where opportunities exist for improvements
  • Drives revenue and profit margin through expert pricing of merchandise.

Collaborates with sales and marketing leadership

  • Develops marketing initiatives in partnership with our marketing team and scheduling of the ‘sale’ calendar.
  • Prepares recaps of events for sales and marketing leadership, highlighting what worked and what could have been improved
  • Tracks and analyzes traffic patterns in each location, designer traffic and purchasing trends, prepares and delivers a month end recap to the SVP at each month’s end

  • Ability to attract, hire and retain the best talent for the roles store location
  • Communicating the highest of expectations and constantly elevating the performance of the store team
  • Collaboratively establishing clear, challenging goals, for individuals and the stores more generally, that are aligned with Company goals and assist in clearing obstacles
  • Creating a positive climate of accountability at every level, setting the pace by showing strong follow-through on commitments you own

This job might be for you if:

  • A minimum of five years of sales management experience, with at least two years experience in brick-and-mortar store management
  • Home Furnishing sales experience
  • Luxury product experience perferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent four-year degree preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously with little oversight
  • Ability to work and manage in physically demanding environments where lifting, packing, and unpacking heavy items is commonplace
  • A Positive outlook on our industry and our company, ability to lead with integrity
