The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will drive operational excellence by managing warehouse activities, including production, order fulfillment, and shipping while promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture. Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates to achieve efficiency, accuracy, and company goals.

Responsibilities

 

Leadership & Employee Development

  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Provide coaching, set clear performance goals, and support employee growth.

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, timely shipments, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Use Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize workflows and reduce waste.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify improvement areas, and implement creative solutions to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce OSHA regulations, lead safety training, and conduct regular audits to maintain a secure work environment.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to align warehouse operations with broader organizational objectives.

This job might be for you if:

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years in shipping and receiving operations.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Expertise in RF Scanning, distribution systems, and domestic/international logistics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to influence and motivate diverse teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving alignment toward organizational goals.
  • Spanish communication skills (preferred).
  • Firsthand distribution experience in the home décor industry is a plus.
