Overview

As a Outside Sales Representative (Brand Ambassador) in our New York showroom, you’ll work in a goal-based sales environment to create meaningful relationships with our clients and maximize sales through determining client needs, answering questions about our product, and recommending the right solutions. To land this gig, you’ll need experience in a sales environment, preferably for a luxury brand or within the furniture and design industries.

 

What to expect of your first 30, 60, and 90 days: 

 

30 Days:

  • Demonstrate competence in operational systems (Wiz, Zoho, Arteriors website & all the resources on it, Franpos, Exponet), demonstrate understanding of Arteriors seasonal message and merchandise assortment.

60 Days:      

  • Demonstrate understanding of RPI/Touchpoints process and impact.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency on the showroom floor to provide excellent service, urgency with follow up/resolution on correspondence

90 Days:

  • Lead Conversion at company standard
  • Appointments in or out of showroom for new clients/newly assigned clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver a presentation (at a showroom level)
  • Demonstrate the ability to walk the showroom and articulate the seasonal message

This job might be for you if:

  • Experience in selling luxury goods, with experience in sales in the luxury home furnishings industry a plus.
  • Experience working with interior designers or home stagers is a plus.
  • Strong aptitude for communicating product knowledge to clients.
  • Solid presentation skills with the ability to articulate product attributes and nuances and brand differentiators to drive conversion that builds brand recognition, commitment, and loyalty and converts business.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to provide optimum customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle the needs of a large client base including booking and conducting client meetings, scheduling and executing product knowledge presentations, and completing administrative duties associated with maintaining the client base.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative team member who works well with others to drive team and territory success.
  • Ability to analyze monthly reporting to determine areas for growth and identify methods to build a successful territory.
  • Ability to lift and move furniture pieces and lighting fixtures up to 50 lbs.
