As an Outside Sales Representative (Brand Ambassador) in our Los Angeles showroom, you’ll work in a goal-based sales environment to create meaningful relationships with our clients and maximize sales through determining client needs, answering questions about our product, and recommending the right solutions.
This position will be primarily focused on outside sales (approximately 65%), developing relationships and driving business across your assigned territory, with the remaining time spent in the showroom supporting clients, collaborating with the team, and contributing to the overall client experience.
To land this gig, you will need experience in a sales environment, preferably for a luxury brand or within the furniture and design industry.
Key Focus Areas
Outside Sales (65%)
- Proactively build and manage relationships with existing and prospective clients through the assigned territory
- Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and product knowledge sessions at client locations, offices or in the Showroom.
- Drive new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and territory management,
- Represent Arteriors at industry events, trade shows, and design community functions.
- Analyze territory performance and implement strategies to achieve sales growth goals.
Showroom Sales & Support (approximately 35%)
- Provide exceptional client service in the showroom, ensuring every visitor experiences the Arteriors brand at its best.
- Collaborate with the team to manage appointments, walk-ins, and follow-ups.
- Maintain a strong understanding of showroom merchandising and operations.
- Support showroom events and assist in creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for clients.
What to expect of your first 30, 60, and 90 days:
30 Days:
- Demonstrate competence in operational systems (Wiz, Zoho, Arteriors website & all the resources on it, Franpos, Exponet)
- Demonstrate understanding of Arteriors' seasonal message and merchandise assortment.
60 Days:
- Demonstrate understanding of RPI/Touchpoints process and impact.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency on the showroom floor in client service and follow-up.
90 Days:
- Achieve Lead Conversion at the company standard
- Conduct both Outside and Showroom appointments for new and assigned clients.
- Deliver confident presentations and articulate the seasonal message effectively.
